Get The SCOOP - Join The Latest Social Bookmarking Site, For Internet Marketers

If you know me by now then you know how much I really am into the social media gig. I like it. I love it. I want more of it.
Well, I may well be getting my wish. There is a new social bookmarking site online. SCOOP is run by ISEdb, Internet Search Engine Database.
You’ll recognize the Digg interface right away. It’s not Digg, of course, but if you’re an Internet marketer you likely won’t get very far with Digg. That’s why SCOOP makes a great alternative. It’s the social media site that specializes in Internet marketing stories. Finally, we have our own social bookmarking site.
You can vote stories, just like on Digg. If you sign up for an account right now you’ll be one of the first people to sign onto the social site. So far the top 5 tags are Google, SEO, search engine, isedb and aol. I hope we get more diversity with SCOOP. I’d hate to see it turn into another “I hate Google” venue. I’d hate to see it turn into another “I love Google” venue. What I’d like to see is a social bookmarking site where real Internet marketers share their insights and the rest of the Internet marketing community can comment on those insights and vote on which ones have the most merit. Not in a profane speculative sort of way where everyone tries to play Nostradamus and predict the future, but in a way that is actually meaningful and provides a better understanding of the Web and Internet marketing techniques.
If used correctly, SCOOP could be a good viral marketing tool for some. Maybe you.
