PageRank Is Not The Be-All End-All Of Success Measurement
My best advice on PageRank is don’t get bent around the axle on it. Yes, it’s impressive to tell your customers that you have a Google PR 9, but that in itself won’t get your customers and you have that coveted PR 10 spot and still not convert enough traffic. If you focus all of your energy on building a great website with dynamite copy written to close the sale, then on promoting your website to get the traffic you need to succeed, PR will just slip down the scale of importance. I’d rather have a PR6 and sales through the roof than mediocre traffic with mediocre conversion at a PR10. Wouldn’t you?
Just a little friendly advice.
