How To Get People To Read Your Articles
Tips on making your articles more readable:
2) Make use of numbers or bullets.
3) Use Sub-headings to sub-divide your paragraphs in the page.
4) Provide a good attention-grabbing title or header.
Out of the six tips this author shared, these three alone will make your articles 1,000% better. When you use bullet statements – I call them ordered and unordered lists – you make your article easy to scan, more attractive. Ordered lists are numbered lists, like the one above. Unordered lists are lists consisting of bullet statements. Both are easy to read and valuable to your audience, allowing them to scan your article for easy reading.
Subheadings also make your article easy to read. The reader can scan the article and decide whether or not to read the paragraphs based on the subheadings.
Likewise, a good article title will go a long way in helping your audience decide to read your article. If the title is attention grabbing and curiosity building then you will likely get readers. If boring, you might as well just hang it out to dry. No one will read it. The title is perhaps the most important part of your article. Get it wrong and you won’t get many readers. Get it right and you’ve got a good start to an article marketing career that can pay your bills.
