New Website Tool: web2walk And Outbound Links
I found a great new website tool for you webmasters. web2walk allows you to view the outbound links of any website and see the outbound links of those sites as well. The applications for this tool are tremendous. I see three immediate and beneficial uses for it:
- If you own a lot of websites you can view the link structure of your websites and, at a glance, tell if you are missing any connections.
- You can also look at the outbound links of external websites you link to and see if there are any sites relevant to yours through those connections that you can link to as well. You could use this tool to find sites related to yours that might not be ranked well in the search engines, send the webmasters of those sites an e-mail and request a link to your site or work out a reciprocal arrangement.
- Thirdly, you use the tool for competitor research. What sites are your competitors linking to and what sites are those websites linking to? Should you be linking to them as well?
I love finding new web tools. Marketleap allows you to see the inbound links of your websites and measure link popularity. Use it in conjunction with web2walk and you can keep all of your websites’ link structures in tact with a couple of real simple overviews.
