		<description>There are instances where the company name makes sense. The contact page and the about us page. Search engines crawl web pages, not websites. So in a search for your company name, your about us page will come up, probably as number 1 as long as the about us page is also optimized for the company name just as you would with generic keywords.

On all the other pages, I usually do not put the company name in the title tag and advise clients the same. However, if the company is very well known, then it might be okay.
