(From the Pilgrim) SEMCheck examines over 20 different areas of importance when looking at the architecture of a website as well offering suggestions that move beyond just site structure (i.e. available misspellings of a domain, etc). SEMCheck is designed to give a strong foundational audit that should be followed up with search marketing expertise to expand on areas of concern and further bolster already strong site attributes. Some of the areas that are examined are sitemaps, typo domain availability, HTML issues, server status, custom 404 error pages, redirects, title tag usage and more.

I can’t tell you how invaluable a tool such as this would be, not only for search marketers like myself but also for webmasters who do their own SEO. There are already tools online that allow you to check keyword density, link popularity, and other SEO criteria, but this is the first tool that I know of that looks at site architecture to this degree. I can’t wait to check it out myself and see the real value first hand.
Oh, and if you head over to Marketing Pilgrim you can get a free SEO audit.
