Well, you could buy a book that teaches how to SEO your website, and that’s not a bad option. You could also learn to promote yourself online through a little trial and error, but that will take you some time. One thing is for sure, you can’t learn it all in one day.

I’d like to share one SEO tip with you that will help your local business website. Yes, it will cost you some money, but you don’t have to pay me for the tip. There are several local yellow pages websites online that you can go to and list your local business. I recommend that you list your business in several of those. At least five. Some of them offer free business listings, but they almost all have paid listings as well. It depends on the amount of information you want to list with them. Choose the option that allows you to link to your website from the local business directory. This will give you valuable inbound links, which will improve your link popularity, and it will likely drive traffic to your website as well.
