[...] I apologize to Rich Ord and his fabulous editorial crew for beating up on them so much this week, but I couldn’t help but notice that by this time on the same day that Microsoft offered to take Yahoo by force like a prison term lifer owns his new cell buddy, the prestigious news organization had written more stories on that one topic than on any other topic within the previous month. In case you’re wondering, that’s a lot of stories. [...]

Rich, glad you got a sense of humor. Let's see ... I'm kind of curious about a lot of things. Like, what's Ask up to these days? How's it going with natural language research? Any up-and-comers we should be aware of? Oh, and I hear that MySpace has a new developers platform - that sounds like it might be pretty exciting news. I did a search on the WebProNews website and found two stories on that in the last week.

The largest social networking website in the world offers developers access to its API and all we get is, "Hey, MySpace is offering up their API," but a third place backward-running search engine offers to buy a competitor that is outrunning it despite a couple of trips and that gets more coverage than the Exxon Valdez. Journalism just isn't what it used to be. But who am I? Just some SEO hack, I guess. ;-)
