Google Doesn’t Hate SEO

Writing by Nick Stamoulis

Matt Cutts, of Google, fame has a 10 minute video from the Web 2.0 conference where he looks at what Google considers Spam. He also admits that Google doesn’t hate search engine optimization.

You read right – Google does not hate search engine optimization

In fact, Google does not consider search engine optimization to be Spam, it is just that some methods could be considered Spam.

Along with the ten minute video, there are 25 Power point slides where Matt goes through types of Spam and how to engage an ethical search engine optimization consultant. The video is interesting and well worth watching. The slides are interesting themselves and worth a look.

For a quiet Sunday, this video is an entertaining ten minutes of Google search engine optimization do’s and don’ts. You can see the video on Matt Cutts blog.

Interesting, to a point. But, largely, it’s the same old stuff put out by Google for the past several years, just dressed up a bit.
