SEO Teaches You Discipline

If you undertake a search engine optimization program yourself - and do it properly - one of the lessons you will take away from it is discipline.
Effective search engine optimization means you are in complete control with how your website looks to both visitors and search engines. Navigation will be ordered and structured with everything filed within those structures. For blogs this is easy as you simply use the categories and tags. If you use a menu system, then everything should be well laid out and productive.
When it comes to content, search engine optimization requires the use of keywords and neatly formated page, chapter or paragraph titles; all keyword optimized and all created for the user first and search engines second.
The page structure should be carefully monitored with each new page fitting into the site seamlessly, carefully linked to other pages that your readers will find helpful. This internal link building is an important component of today’s online experience.
If you stick to a well laid search engine optimization plan you find that over time, your search engine optimization skills become advanced, you learn to become disciplined in what you do, and your web pages quality will go up. Likewise, your rankings will start to rise as more people come to appreciate what you have to say.
