Google Takes It Offline With A New Blog

Google are pushing their offline advertising with a new blog - called - Let’s Take It Offline. Most advertisers aren’t aware of Google’s offline advertising in more traditional media outlets such as print, radio and television.

The blog is supposedly going to keep everyone up to date with all that is happening with offline advertising. This means that, if Google runs true to form, you will get a blog posting about once every three weeks despite the claim:

We’ll also share recent industry findings, which we think will be interesting and useful for both individuals who are new to TV, print, and radio, as well as those of you who have been using those mediums for a while. Additionally, we’ll give you a glimpse into the life of our team here at Google, so you can learn more about who we are and what we do.

Anyone believe them? It is an interesting move for Google stepping outside their traditional search scene. Their offline advertising is not a new move having been around for awhile. However it may be they are intent on pushing it a bit more.

One thing is for certain, you cannot undertake a search engine optimization program for the radio, television or print media.
