I’m amazed that home sellers still flock to websites like Zillow and Byowner.com to sell their houses. They still go through real estate agents and mortgage brokers. Why?

Here’s a novel approach by someone looking for a job and it makes me wonder why home owners don’t use the same approach.

Here’s what you do … Build a website with photos, a video tour, and a good selling description of a home you want to sell. Include all the selling benefits and the features that you want to highlight in your description. Use white hat search engine optimization techniques and an ongoing solid link building strategy to rank the website and get it sold. Once the house sells you no longer need the website so it’s a short term SEO strategy. But I see no reason why it couldn’t work!
