SEO For Google Is About To Change Forever

Writing by Nick Stamoulis

One of the things that has made SEO for Google what it is is the limitation on the snippet within Google SERPs. Until now Google has limited those snippets to 160 characters. The snippet is usually taken from the meta description on web pages. But if Google starts using longer snippets as this article says it will then webmasters will begin to write longer meta descriptions. That will certainly change how search engine optimization is conducted. Since many webmasters do not even bother optimizing their web pages for other search engines, those who focus entirely on Google will see the longer snippets as an opportunity to lengthen their meta descriptions and possibly slip in another keyword or related keyword. Writing by Nick Stamoulis

Follow the news and you'll just in circles. In 1998, Google was a startup, but by 2001 it was hot. Facebook kicked off in 2004 but it went hot by 2006. MySpace was hot a few years ago (2005). All of these companies are great places to search in their own right. So where should you go today to market your products and services? Obviously, you can't ignore Google. But what about YouTube? Why SEO Is Not A Band Aid

Writing by Nick Stamoulis

Many firms who aren't used to doing business online discover suddenly that they need help. Do Similar Links On The Same Page Pass Juice?

Writing by Nick Stamoulis

Gab Goldenberg pontificated on this question on his blog. He gives two answers, but the first one is suspect. He writes: That makes sense, since all else being equal, two identical links should get the same click through rate, and not be materially valuable to the random walk theory. Not necessarily.
