Thanks for reading!  It sounds like it may actually be a coincidence, but I would ask the SEO firm that you hired to show you exactly what they executed for you (on site and off site optimization)...

Another thought is that sometimes when a new site is launched and it shoots up the ranking and then after a little while it settles back down to reality (where it should be).  Remember, SEO is a long term strategy that take an extreme amount of patience...

		<description>First of all i would like to say i am a regular reader and really find stuff very useful to learn new things. I am glad i got referred to your site.

I have been trying to get my website ranked up doing the SEO related work myself. The url is only about 3 months old. I got to the 8th page &amp; 10th page within a month and a half&#039;s efforts but within 1 day my ranking dropped to page 26. 

Now is it a coincidence that this happened right a day after i spoke about this website to a firm i am getting SEO work done for two other websites of our company.</description>
