Industry News Can Create New Content
Search engine optimization and increasing visitors through content development is not always so straightforward. Sometimes it's a little sneaky. Not sneaky in a black hat kind of way, but sneaky in a good kind of way. I'm talking about using current events to draw new readers to your blog or website if it pertains to your industry or helps contribute to the goals of your website. Using current events and hot industry topics can provide a better user experience for your site visitors as well. You can use this strategy for any niche or industry. Things SEO People Should Never Do
Over the last few years the search engine optimization industry has really taken the business community by storm. Some understand the process, some don’t have a clue and many are still left scratching their heads wondering what it really is and how it can help their business. The industry has become tougher and tougher over the years because there doesn’t seem to be any industry standards in place on how to get from point A to point B making the education process challenging. Faster Load Times Really Matters!
One of the factors that can seriously affect your on site search engine optimization efforts in a positive way is your website page load time. Interestingly, websites are rarely penalized for having slow load times, but if you increase your page load time you can often see positive results including increased page rankings that will lead to more visitors over time. Also, another reason to have faster load times on your website is user experience. Your site visitors will appreciate it for sure! This is not across the board. It depends a great deal on how much you improve your page load time. If your page already loads about average and you increase the page load speed by just a few nanoseconds, that likely CLICK HERE TO READ MORE...
Title Tags Can Be Changed by Google?
Here's an incentive for writing good page titles. Google reserves the right to do it for you! Of course, Google has said all along that it may use different texts for use as snippets to show users in the SERPs. They won't always use your meta description tag. Google has been known to use descriptions from the Open Directory Project also known as the DMOZ directory. In other cases, the search engine has snagged text from on page and overridden the meta description tag. Now, Google is saying it could use other tactics similar to these for displaying a page title to searchers. Here is a recent video by Google's Matt Cutts that examples this Title Tag topic: If you find that your page titles have been changed CLICK HERE TO READ MORE...
