WHAT’S NEW THIS WEEK WITH GOOGLE:
Update to Search Queries, Parameter Handling and Messages
Google announced that they have launched updates in Webmaster Tools giving a user more insight into how their website appears in search results. Changes include the addition of a “Change” column that is tied to date range, making it easier to pinpoint a particular change.

WHAT’S NEW THIS WEEK WITH BING:
New Features on Bing Maps REST Services
BING has announced the development of four new services for mobile or web including showing a route on a static map, ability to specify avoidance of tolls or highways by use of minimize and avoid parameters, and the ability to calculate a route from all four directions in case a user doesn’t know where they are coming from.

New Mobile Search Features
Late last week, Yahoo rolled out an update in mobile search for smartphones. With more precise search results that are neatly packaged for the user on the road.
