Common Link Building FAQ Questions
I think there are still many un-answered questions when it comes to the variety of search engine marketing practices and efforts but I think overtime people will realize the true meaning of search engine optimization and the proper steps needed to get it done correctly.
Here are some common link building FAQ questions I still see asked to this day:
Can I be number one in Google by the end of the month?
Yes and no. Yes you could find your website ranking for certain long tail keyword phrases fairly quickly due to a lack of competition but if you are even in a slightly busy space and you are just starting your SEO it will take some time for things to rank for slightly more competitive keywords.

I just launched my domain last week and I really need to be at the top of a Google search, how long will it take?
There is really no easy way to answer this because everything happens at different times when it comes to search engine rankings. If you put together a fairly aggressive and scheduled search engine optimization campaign you should see movement fairly quickly but it does require some time and patience. Movement will happen within 90 days for most if you have the right campaign but whether you are satisfied with that “movement” is another story.
I really need to increase my Google PageRank, how can I?
You need to ask yourself why Google PageRank is important to you. What is it going to do for you? If you don’t have an optimized website or any campaign strategy laid out that PageRank isn’t going to do diddly for you. It’s just a little green bar that’s all. It doesn’t reflect the growth of a business in any way.
Can’t I just pay $49.95 to someone overseas to handle my SEO?
Do you trust that someone is going to effectively grow and market your business for such a small cost that you have never heard of or had a phone conversation with? Like everything in life you truly get what you pay for. That doesn’t mean you have to spend an arm and a leg you just have to compare apples to apples when you are trying to determine your budget. Taking a white hat or “by the book” approach to search engine optimization requires man hours for items to be completed and a certain level of knowledge and expertise, that costs much more than fifty bucks.
These are just some of the more important questions I often hear people asking me. Educate yourself a bit on search engine optimization if you are planning on getting involved and/or hire a service provider.

You’ve hit the nail on the head here. People need to look into SEO properly before they hire an SEO expert, or go ahead trying to get their site highly ranking in search engines.
Without a properly optimised site a person’s online business may receive lots of traffic but may not win many customers. Having an online presence is for the purpose of getting new business, and that doesn’t just mean being at the top of the search engines.
As for price, nobody can expect to pay so little and get great SEO. Those who want SEO, should research, and research and research before they get involved and make sure that the company they go with are completely legit and only emply white hat SEO tactics.
I liked the “overseas” answer. Gawd-only-knows who is over there and what they are doing with what you send them. I’ve heard recently that most of the spam is being human-entered to get around captcha’s (but that’s not what’s triggering my spam filters…) And while their cost of living is much lower, what is their computer literacy and SEO knowledge?
How about experience? While Russia, for instance, is known for coders who are incredibly efficient with their resources, they are also known for some of the largest organizations of black-hat hackers around.
So – you get what you pay for. And let the buyer beware.
Really Nick Stamoulis has shared a great post with us. Most of the website’s owner think that SEO is an easy and they ask service professional to bring my website or keywords in top ranking position.
Although it is very tough to get high search volume keywords in top position. Everyone who are in SEO are know that optimizing high volume keywords will take time and need to work regularly on that keywords.
It’s really very useful to SEO newbies.
We should be careful while doing SEO,otherwise our site will be penalized by Google.
