This is a fantastic article. The search engine people when there was a emergency situation occured. Were absoluteley incredible and we could not beleive what they did to help. Even though we are a tiny business the search engine people made it so easy for people all over the world to find us. We are so gratefull for your article. We thought it was something we had done wrong. What it was that people started to copy what we did which put us in a situation where we had to work twice as hard to climb back ontop for the listings.

As Andy said, good quality articles will infact stand the test of time. Too many spinning and such like I'd happening. If someone wants to build a reputable business and establish themselves as professionals- the least that they can do is to educate themselves and produce content that will benefit others. This takes time and commitment of course, like every other legitimate achievement.

I believe that the antispam algorithms are well overdue to lift up a standard against these content farms a

Thanks FS for reading! I heard the same thing about a Google penalty push as well on several news sources...

The moral of the story is indeed never put all of your eggs in 1 basket and building different streams of marketing/revenue is essential in today's marketplace...

Thanks again!

Seems like a penalty push occured late last week based on what Matt Cutts said, and people who've used shady tactics will be dropping. Crazy how so many people rely on Google traffic solely to float their business when all they have to do is change a setting and everything changes.

Lesson to everyone that a strong marketing plan is much more than positioning, it should include all forms of advertising and always maintain a white hat flavor.
