How To Ensure Article Readers Can See Your URL
When you write your author resource box for article marketing, be sure to include two links. The first link should be the URL of the landing page you want your visitors to go to. The second link should be anchor text, that is, an important keyword phrase that serves as a link. Here’s what the two links will look like:
The reason you want to do it this way is because many e-zines are text only. That is, they are published without graphics when your article is published the anchor text link will not be activated. Some html publishers will not go through the trouble to ensure that hyperlinks are activated in the resource box. If that happens then you still have the URL that people can read. Then visitors to those sites can copy and paste your URL into their browser and still visit your website. This isn’t a perfect solution but it is one way to ensure that people know the original source of your article. Don’t shortchange yourself.
