Misunderstood SEO Concepts

Writing by Nick Stamoulis

Search engine optimization is not a straight forward approach and oftentimes requires experience and knowledge in order to get it right. Over the years some key important optimization techniques have been seriously misunderstood and completely butchered. Here is a list of common misunderstood SEO concepts that I came up with: Website Meta Info You shouldn’t have 100 keywords stuffed into your keyword section of each page of your site. This is going to cause a horrible user experience and could even cause a penalty if really abused. Footer Links Years ago it was a popular measure to stuff many different CLICK HERE TO READ MORE...

Don’t Charlie Sheen Your SEO

Writing by Nick Stamoulis

As we all know, Charlie Sheen has officially lost his mind. His downward spiral in the public eye began a few weeks ago with bizarre television and media interviews. It seemed like everybody was talking about Charlie Sheen, which is exactly what he wanted. When his tirades first began, it was interesting and humorous to watch. Recovering from a Search Engine Penalty

Writing by Nick Stamoulis

Search engine penalties do happen from time to time and sometimes they happen to good, hard working companies who simply get wrapped up with the wrong type of vendor. Search engine optimization comes with boundaries and when those boundaries are pushed and stretched to their limits sometimes people find themselves on the wrong side of the fence. Education – Don’t Make the Same Mistake Twice! Think about the company or person you were working with and take the opposite approach if you need to find a new vendor now.
