No surprises – reading the patents coming out or watching the behavior of those who do gives a pretty good idea of what to do next.

Social Media.
Wordpress or Drupal.
Being totally transparent.

Basically, ranking high in Google is a reward to the sites that feed the growth of Google by providing more content for Google to return in their search results…. and higher quality content, so people continue to use Google for their searching….

regardless, I think that doing the basics like – building websites for people first (search engines second) – getting high quality links – updated and new content – will not change.

Remember google works for the people searching NOT website builders and what is good for people searching google is good for google….and us!

Does that explain why Google have changed their home page to allow users to upload there favourite image?
