I know how to get links and increase in google ranking, but how do you get more recognized links that when you type in link:www.YourSite.com are listed?

My Web site have more than 7K inbound links and hundred thousands to outbound… each news have a link for some source of information, but I don’t see how it make my results better.

Mike, SEO Professional is correct. Even product sites can attract links through a blog and useful product reviews or other link bait. But one of the best ways to build links is to market through articles. Provide useful information in a selfless way and publishers will give you the link love you desire.

I can understand people linking to a site that provides information. But for websites that sell products, very few people will naturally link to your site…and even when they do, you can’t control the anchor text or description….in 3 years being online, only 3 people have linked to me that I can find…and they were posts on decorating forums.

3 links isn’t gonna cut it. I have to exchange links like everyone else…
