I have been pondering the thought about this article. I have a few domains that rank first page. But I do not no what to do with them. And other sites are linking to me; I think maybe with there anticipation on where the sites could go. Or maybe I am just being linked to for some other reason. I do agree huge on the giving the customers and readers unique content. I like to look at it with giving the reader an opportunity to participate.

Thanks,

Thanks for the heads up! I'm running three websites, all distinctly different as to focus and audiences. However, I have a blog that's been running for a few years, and I've been toying with the idea of using it as a primary link for all three websites. Your comments give me pause, and I'm rethinking the strategy on this. I was trying to save myself time and energy that otherwise be spent keeping up with three blogs. Comments?

Thanks Nick! While I don't generally recommend this to my clients (for the spammy, black hat reasons), I can see some value in having an additional site as long as it adds NEW value to the internet.

This particular topic has always been at the forefront of online marketing.

As a rule of thumb, I prefer to focus on building an authority presence using one website.

Always good to hear different angles on this topic, thanks Nick.
