Don’t Cut Corners On Your Internet Marketing Budget
(Source) Of course, many companies have found that the costs associated with offshoring are often not worth the headaches that come from language barriers and lower quality work. That said, if you’re involved in marketing, you’d better not take for granted that cushy gig you have. Just like those in the technical support and web development world, you could soon learn that your work can be done for a fraction of the price by someone else.
Bingo boingo! Like getting hit between the eyes?
This is already happening. Many article marketers will hire someone in India to write articles for $2 or $3 each. That’s great, or it would be, if they were good articles. The problem is, many of the articles written by these firms are nowhere near the quality that you would get in the U.S. or parts of Europe. For one thing, if you want articles written in American English, you’ll be hard pressed to get them in India. The country that was once a British colony is more familiar with the UK English grammatical rules than American. Even then, many of the articles written for that price aren’t up to UK standards.
It can be difficult, when you are planning an Internet marketing strategy, to stay within budget if you are spending a lot of money on articles and other services. But don’t pinch pennies. That could get you in just as much trouble as spending too much money and in the long run not spending enough could end up costing you more when you’ll have to hire someone to fix the mistakes that your cheap labor produced. Do yourself a favor and don’t cut corners.
