Natural Link Building and SEO – SEO Video Lesson
Natural link building occurs just like it says, naturally! A positive product of all your SEO and online marketing efforts, natural link building happens when other sites and blogs willingly link to your content. Natural links weren’t asked or traded for–they happened because you have great content! Natural links build up overtime, so it’s still important to invest in a link building campaign, but natural links are a great addition to your link portfolio.

Hi Nick,
Just stumbled across your site and impressed with the resources on offer and tips!
I have always had a view that the content vs SEO (assuming in this term it is used for backlinking) can be a bit of a mute argument when it comes to reality. As an example I have recently studied two sites, both built from scratch, unique content, simliar age. Once has followed a policy of what could be considered ‘against the grain’ methods in Googles eyes while the other has gone for the natural ‘if my site is good then people will link to it’ suggested Google approach.
The problem of course is that can you build the best shop in the world, but if you don’t put it on the high street and situate it in the middle of the desert, then no one is going to know just how good it is!
Obviously with an established site it is better able to grow organically but gaining that initial momentum has just got a lot harder for those wishing to launch.
