Thanks for reading and your comment. Most people do still prefer search engines as their main method of research. In recent times, since Google has started to integrate tweets in search results, this only shows that social media marketing is so important but should indeed be put into perspective as search engines are still very much the king on the block

That’s a good point. Spending time in social media network is really time consuming. It should be done after doing some research into it. I still think search engines is going to be the most preferred method of doing research online, for a long, long time to come and it’s not going away. I won’t do any research using twitter or social media…..I still prefer SEARCH ENGINES!

You’ve made some good points on being focused with one’s strategy.

In terms of SEO, I’m wondering if you’ve had a chance to read Robert’s thoughts at http://tinyurl.com/ydjb7zd.

I think with the right social relationship management plan through social media sites, one should be able to promote traffic but also develop relationships that will be essential as search optimization becomes less and less relevant.
