SEOmoz – SEO Software Tools Product Review
It is no surprise that SEO and search engine marketing are a very important component in today’s marketing marketplace. Businesses who still feel the internet is a fad or search engine optimization is fool’s gold will simply not make it for the long haul. For those who might just not be ready to approach the space or are not sure exactly how to do it the right way SEOmoz PRO has a variety of training software programs and SEO tools for any size business owner.
SEOmoz PRO is a highly regarded search marketing tool that is used by many large brands like Best Buy and Ebay. SEOmoz PRO even guarantees that you will increase your website rankings within 30 days of using their SEO tool to help you market your business online. Right out of the gates the SEOmoz PRO tool will use a site crawler to identify immediate simple changes that will help your website start moving around in the search results almost without delay. The SEOmoz PRO keyword tool will also discover any keywords that should be used on your website that are not already being used, critical keywords that will bring your website a newly found attention and steady stream of new inbound traffic. SEOmoz PRO also has a tool that will allow you to infiltrate your competitor’s online approach so you can clearly see what their online strategy looks like. This tool will give you a full insight to what types of links your competition has acquired so you can better understand why it is that they are ranking so well in the search engines. I don’t recommend using this tool to steal the approach of your competition because at the end of the day you should always have your own unique approach to market your business online but this type of information can be very important for you to add to your already growing internet marketing strategy.
Here is a great video about the SEOmoz product:
A SEOmoz PRO member had a question regarding the product:
“We have a client that has a great product and great placement, but a competitor has generated a site that is negative towards them. It appears the [negative] site owner has done a fine job in generating backlinks to support its authority with Google. I have 2 questions:
1. Rarely do I see a negative site follow the actual corporate site when searching by the company name. Doesn’t Google try to keep those results separate?
2. We can push them down the SERP with a subdomain ie. blog.mycompany.com. My question is, can we push the idiot sites down the SERP even more by launching blog.mycompany.com, about.mycompany.com, videos.mycompany.com, sales.mycompany.com? Does Google ever filter by subdomain?
Answer: We replied with a detailed explanation of why this can happen. We also gave him eight awesome (and completely white hat) tactics to use to push the competition down in the rankings without having to build a ton of subdomains.”
SEOmoz PRO gives businesses and website owners an amazing amount of critical tools and information that they can use to get any job done. Whether it is a reputation management issue or simply to increase search engine rankings SEOmoz PRO has something for everyone.

SEOmoz PRO also has a tool that will allow you to infiltrate your competitor’s online approach so you can clearly see what their online strategy looks like. This tool will give you a full insight to what types of links your competition has acquired so you can better understand why it is that they are ranking so well in the search engines
Thanks Product Review fore reading and sharing the additional information about the SEOMoz product!
Thanks again & take care,
Nick
Be careful about the free trial for 30 days. My experience is that they take the credit card information, give you a login, and then the login does not work. Even using the change password function does not work. There is no response. After 30 days, SEOmoz starts taking $99 a month out of your account. I am told the only way to stop it successfully is to close the bank account. Too much hassle. For what?
Thanks Bob for sharing your thoughts about the SEOmoz product.
Has anyone else had problems with the 30 day trial? I was just about to sign up until I read Bob’s comment (thanks Bob) so am now wary. Can anyone recommend another product which will allow ms to trial it without any hassle if I don’t want to move into a paid subscription? Thanks
SeoMoz is a great bit of kit for analysing your historical seo progress, but does nothing to your actual rankings. The link building tab leaves most of the work up to you. Then you can either use a tool like Ignite SEO to build the links automatically, or find some good footprints and do it yourself.
