Many businesses and organizations have their main social media goal of increasing the number of likes, followers, or subscribers. However, they overlook the fact that Facebook, Twitter, and other social media networking sites are another tool for communication.
Social media is another way (in addition to having a blog and email newsletter) to engage with both current and prospective customers, and should be more “social” than promotional.
