		<description><![CDATA[I agree with you about the value of SM and SEM, but the use must be based on a clear overall marketing strategy with time allowed to build the necessary relationships.  SM is often presented as a silver bullet but engagement is a key factor of success and unless the target audience engages and the company is committed, there is little value to many SM tactics/tools. It will come, but it is not there for everybody yet.

Many B2B companies are better served by starting with a blog (many don&#039;t and it is not easy for them to start) and moving to other SM tactics over time as their success and experience grows and their markets engage.]]></description>
