Find out why your organic traffic dropped — in two business days
We diagnose the cause of your traffic loss for a fixed fee and hand you a prioritised fix list. If we cannot identify a probable cause, you do not pay.
What we actually check
Traffic drops have a short list of real causes, and most audits waste your money crawling everything instead of testing that list in order. We work through it from most to least likely for your specific loss pattern.
- Algorithm timing. We overlay your daily loss curve against confirmed Google updates. A drop that starts on an update date is a different problem from one that starts on a deploy date.
- Deploy timing. If your loss lines up with a release, we diff what changed — robots directives, canonical tags, rendering, internal links, redirects.
- Indexation. Pages that stopped ranking because they stopped being indexed are the single most common cause we find, and the fastest to reverse.
- Page-level attribution. We separate sitewide loss from a handful of pages falling off a cliff. Those need completely different responses.
- SERP change. Sometimes you did not lose rankings — an AI Overview or a new feature took the clicks. We check position data against click data to tell those apart.
- Link loss. We compare your current referring domains against your pre-drop profile for anything material that disappeared.
What you get on day two
A short document, not a 90-page PDF export. It names the most probable cause, shows the evidence for it, lists what to fix in priority order, and estimates what each fix is likely to recover. Your developer can work from it directly.
If the evidence points at more than one cause, we say so and rank them. If it points at nothing — if your traffic is down because your market is down, or because a tracking change moved your numbers rather than your rankings — you get that answer and an empty invoice.
Who this is not for
If your site never ranked in the first place, this is the wrong service; there is no drop to diagnose and you want a standard SEO engagement instead. If you already know the cause and want it fixed, skip the audit and tell us what you need done.
In particular, if Search Console already shows a manual action, or you have confirmed your decline started on a core update, you have skipped past diagnosis — go straight to penalty and update recovery. This page is for the case where you do not yet know why.
Questions we get asked
How fast do I get the audit? +
Two business days from the moment we have Search Console and analytics access. Traffic drops compound, so we do not queue them behind retainer work.
What if the drop turns out to be seasonal? +
Then we tell you that and you pay nothing. Roughly one in five enquiries turns out to be normal seasonality or a tracking change rather than a ranking loss, and finding that out is worth the two days.
Do you fix the problem, or just diagnose it? +
The audit is diagnosis only, delivered so your own team can act on it. If you would rather we implement, we scope that separately once the cause is known — we do not sell you a retainer before we know what is wrong.
What access do you need? +
Read-only Google Search Console and analytics. We do not need CMS or server access to diagnose.
